1. White Sand and Turquoise Water: A Visual Paradise

Playa Cabuyal is one of those beaches that looks like it's straight out of a postcard. The sand is soft and white, and the water has an impressive turquoise hue. Compared to other nearby beaches like Nacascolo or Virador, Cabuyal has an even more natural and less crowded atmosphere.

If you enjoy spectacular landscapes without the crowds, this is the perfect place.

2. A Quiet and Little-Known Spot

The best thing about Cabuyal is that it is still a well-kept secret. Unlike other beaches in the Papagayo Peninsula, here you won't find luxury hotels or crowded restaurants. This makes it an ideal option if you're looking to disconnect from the world and simply relax with the sound of the sea.

We spent hours enjoying the peace of the place, and if you love photography, here you'll find perfect settings to capture the essence of Guanacaste.

3. Ideal for Wildlife Watching

If you are a nature lover, you will love to know that Playa Cabuyal is a strategic spot for wildlife watching. During our visit, we saw pelicans flying in formation, fish jumping near the shore, and even some crabs moving among the rocks.

Additionally, depending on the time of year, you might be lucky enough to see sea turtles nesting on the beach. It’s an impressive spectacle you can’t miss.

4. Perfect for Snorkeling and Kayaking Enthusiasts

The crystal-clear waters of Playa Cabuyal make it ideal for activities like snorkeling and kayaking. Although it doesn't have a very extensive coral reef, there are areas where you can see colorful fish and other marine species.

If you have snorkeling gear, bring it! You'll be surprised by the amount of marine life you can find just a few meters from the shore.
